Four years of the TWO CITIES Project between the University of Art in Tehran and the Fachhochschule Dortmund – University of Applied Sciences and Arts are coming to an end in difficult times – but fullfill all those involved even more with a certain pride in their success.
The last conference began at Bagh-e Melli Campus on Sunday to which all TWO CITIES participants of the workshop year 2021 had been cordially invited. As a matter of course and completely routinely, Professor Joerg Winde and Research Assistant Jennifer Brade were joined on the German side via video stream. A circumstance that was not self-evident at the beginning of the Corona pandemic and would even have been regrettable, now made everyone proud. Digitality finally made a TWO CITIES workshop in 2021 possible. I could not put it more precise than in the words of Dr. Soltani: “I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation (…) for your coorperation and efforts, the team was able to make the program an outstanding and acclaimed success (…), besides the problems caused by COVID 19”.
